Renovation Time

I have for like forever wanted to renovate the big house( The Emerson Row). I began to decorate this house and would always change the decour.  When I first brought this house I never liked the interior color it is so yucky.... 

 

So I'm finally getting around to repainting the house.  Due to the pink shingles I have to match the interior color to match.  I will not be replacing the shingles, I don't have that much time.

I have removed all the windows and doors.  I packed all the furniture up and called in the moving guys and to storage everything went.

Not really.... but my boyfriends shoes boxies are GREAT!!

So with the pink shingles what colors should I choose?  I was thinking a gray tone should be included in the decision.  I have so many visions for the renovation. Many ideas but a small budget, so my Christmas list will be large this year.

Hello!!, wow everyday life sure know how to take you away from what you enjoy doing the most.  I did find time to make items That are for sale in my Etsy shop.  I love the way the mini trays turned out.  The little platter is to cute. It can be used to hold fruit or bread, can you just see it sitting on your table or countertop.

"I wanna play with my miniatures"but life will not slow down :(

Hello followers, oh how I miss blogging. I thought I was all finish with school but I had to complete the final comp exam that is required to complete the program and get my degree in mental health. Well, long story short I'm retaking the exam again this Saturday I failed by 3 points. I cried ( really I boo hoo'ed cried) the mail man didn't know what to say to me standing there crying at the mail box, lol. That test was HARD and you have to score a 100%.  I gave myself 2 days to have a pity party and after that I went back to studying. So here I am ready for Saturday, because I'm so ready to take the exam that my brain cannot study any more.

 Plus I have so many mini projects I would like to finish.  I actual put all my dollhouse up in the closets so I could focus on studying. But I'm pulling them out tomorrow because I claim I will be passing my comp exam and I'll have free time again.  This too funny as I'm writing this my school just called to confirm that I'll be ready Saturday, I'm ready it is in Gods hands I'm not in control I gave all stress and worries to him I can't do it alone.

So friends until I'll be back!!!

I have so many pictures so I am going to fast- forward this sneak peak. I still need more accessories to make this cottage homier.

I added a beaded curtain instead of a door. I got the idea from another mini blogger (http://carolynslittlekitchen.blogspot.com) A peak in the bathroom-the lady of the house needs to do some laundry.What do you think? The kitchen is very busy can you smell the sweet smell of goodies :)

Recreating Behind The Scenes

Miniature time has been great I have had the time to make more goodies and recreate items to put into the Summerville Cottage and the Big House(the Emerson Row) I have yet to give that house a name. Maybe just maybe this could be the reason I cannot finish decorating the house. I have read that people say let the house speak to you & it will guide you. Ok Emerson Row I'm listening what direction would you like me to take you?

Back to what I have been busy preparing. One of these delicious breads will be apart of my giveaway. I'm making other items to go along with these wonderful creations. 

I have been doing some outside work on the Summerville cottage. I painted the ceiling on the porch ocean blue.  I imagine this cottage located in Key West a short bike ride to Duval Street and to the Historic Key West Seaport. I have an inspiration photo that I will try to recreate with a little changes. I have a great bench that I will be placing on the porch. There is still a lot of work to be done.  So come alone friends.....

Here is what I have so far. I painted the floor planks a grayish/blue color the picture don't do it justice.  I looking for a mailbox to add to the porch & I'll be picking up the door kick plate this weekend from Hobby Lobby. So far I'm collecting everything to recreate this lovely porch.
